2. Who Sets Cookies on Lance?
First-party cookies are set by We Are Lance Limited directly. Third-party cookies are set by service providers we use (e.g. Google Analytics). We list all cookies we use in the tables below.

3.1 Strictly Necessary
These cookies are essential for Lance to function. The platform cannot operate without them. They do not require your consent under UK PECR.

3.3 Analytics
These cookies help us understand how visitors use Lance — which pages are popular, where users drop off, and how features perform. All data is aggregated and anonymised. These cookies are only set if you consent.

We have configured GA4 with IP anonymisation enabled. We do not use Google Signals. See Google’s Privacy Policy for more detail.
4. Your Cookie Choices
When you first visit Lance, a cookie banner gives you the following options:
- Accept all — enables strictly necessary, functional, and analytics cookies
- Necessary only — enables strictly necessary cookies only; analytics and functional cookies are not set
- Manage preferences — toggle individual categories on or off
You can change your preferences at any time by clicking the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. Your choice is stored in the cookie_consent cookie for 12 months.
5. Browser Controls

Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. There is currently no universal standard for how websites should respond. We treat DNT signals the same as “Necessary only” consent if analytics cookies have not been explicitly accepted.

We may update this Cookie Policy when we add or remove cookies or change how we use them. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated, and we will re-show the consent banner if any material changes affect analytics or functional cookies.
